Marketing Manager - term time plus 6 weeks during the school holidays

The Marketing Manager plays a crucial role in helping deliver and continue to build on the success of Frewen. The role has full responsibility for all elements of the marketing, advertising and external public relations for the School.  You will be part of the Admin team and be involved with all aspects of school life from book fairs to the organising of the annual Dyslexia conference held at Frewen. 

Salary £25,467 plus lunch and pension

House Parent - Jan 2022 

We are seeking to appoint a full-time residential Boarding Houseparent to be responsible for managing the Boys’ Boarding House under the supervision of the Head of Boarding. Whilst we will consider applicants from either gender, we would prefer a male as there is only one other male member of staff in the Boys’ Boarding House.

The role may be combined with a small teaching timetable, depending on skills and experience.  There is also the possibility of a role for a partner, again depending on skills and experience.

The successful candidate will possess suitable and relevant experience of working in a boarding setting.  A flexible and adaptable approach to working with staff, pupils, parents, and the local community is essential.  We are looking for a friendly proactive team player to join our dedicated staff who is committed to the social, personal, and academic development of our students. Enthusiasm, patience, and a sense of ‘I can’ along with a good sense of humour are all required in addition to sound organisational skills.

Full accommodation is provided, as well as full-board during term time.

Salary based on £22,012 FTE term-time only plus INSET

Graduate Residential Assistant

We are currently looking for a Graduate Residential Assistant from January through to July 2022, and are keen to hear from university graduates who are planning a career in education. This position invites enthusiastic applicants who have graduated in one of the curriculum subjects and are looking for wider experience within a classroom setting as well as to develop pastoral care skills.

This is a Fixed Term position with the potential to extend to a further full academic year, dependent on performance. The post-holder will be required to live on site during term time, with meals provided and a competitive salary.

This exciting challenge offers the right individual the opportunity to gain new skills and experience working in a busy independent boarding school. The post is varied and flexible enabling the successful candidate to fully experience school life and apply their own individual specialisms to the role.

The boarding component of this role is to provide support in the Boarding Houses and to act as a responsible adult ensuring safety and well-being in the house working alongside the Houseparents and non-resident house assistants. 

This position is open to university graduates as specified, preferably with a full, clean, and current driving licence.

Food and Nutrition Technician - part time

We are very proud of the achievements of our students and Food and Nutrition is an extremely popular option subject, with many of our pupils studying up to BTEC level.  

Experience of working with students with Specific Learning Difficulties is helpful but not essential.

Part-time salary based on TA3 £8,668 (£19,313 FTE), 22.5 hours per week, Wednesday-Friday 8.30am to 4pm, term-time only plus INSET

Maintenance Person from January 2022 - full time

An opportunity has arisen in our Estates Team due to retirement, Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm 

The salary for this post is £20,000 per annum with uniform and training provided.
